Mobile Drives
Would you like to organize a blood drive for your organization or business? It is a rewarding activity that yields life-saving benefits for all involved.
The Community Blood Bank partners with over 100 sponsor groups each year
through the mobile blood drive program. Blood drives can be held at any
of the three Community Blood Bank locations or at a location of your choice.
What does a sponsor group do?
- Selects the location.
- Recruits donors from their group or community.
- Schedules appointments for donors.
- Publicizes the event with posters and news releases.
- Provides volunteer helpers the day of the drive to help load equipment.
- If possible, provide refreshments. This could be an ideal way for
those unable to donate to also be a part!
What does the Community Blood Bank provide?
- A representative who will...
- Work with you to plan your blood drive.
- Help you determine your goal and give you suggestions on how to
reach it.
- All recruitment materials including:
- Posters.
- News releases.
- Reminder cards.
- Phone cards.
- A contact list of previous blood donors in the area or at your business.
- All of our own equipment. Tables and chairs are the only items needed.
