Other Ways to Help

Donations of blood are crucial for patients served by area medical facilities but not everyone can donate blood. There are other ways you can partner with the Community Blood Bank. Your time and dollars are also needed and gratefully accepted.

The Gift of Time: Being a CBB volunteer has many rewards and is a great way to be involved in the community. Volunteers are needs in the following areas:

• Serve as Host/Hostess in the refreshment area at the 100 N. 84th Street location.
• Serve as Host/Hostess at mobile blood drives.

The Gift of Dollars: Your financial contribution helps in a variety of ways from the purchase of needed items like laboratory testing equipment and the education of students, our future volunteer blood donors.

With the continued technological advancement, the growth of area medical centers, and the advancements in medical treatments, financial donations help guarantee the Community Blood Bank's commitment to "Excellence in Blood Services."
